This page explains the Kageso screen and functions (Synthesis, Transfer/Transfix, Analysis, Salvage, and Exchange) accessed from the Kageso button in the Tactical Terminal.
The Kageso Overview screen displays all your Kageso except for Exclusive Kageso in a grid format that can be arranged by ascending or descending Quality, Rarity, or Cost. It can also be manipulated with the Filters accessed via the Filter button at the top right corner.
In the grid, the name, Cost, Level, Bound status (indicated by a lock icon), Protected status (indicated by a golden shield with a check mark in the top right corner), Quality (indicated by the background color of the thumbnail), Hidden Stats (if the Kageso has Hidden Stats), and Star Tag status (indicated by a yellow or grayed out star) for Gold and Orange Quality Kageso are shown. If a Kageso is currently Linked to one or more Wielders, a Link icon will be shown at the bottom right corner of the Kageso box.
Tapping on a thumbnail will show a summary of the Kageso with the name, Cost, Level, Bound status (if Bound), Protected status (if Protected), Kageso stats/Basic Attributes (the Main Stats and Attribute Bonuses), Hidden Stats (if the Kageso has Hidden Stats), Kageso Specials (if the Kageso has a Kageso Special), and Kageso inscriptions.
Tapping on the gray area of a Kageso box will open the Develop Kageso screen.
At the bottom of the Kageso Overview screen are the buttons for Salvage, Analysis, and Exchange.
Scroll down to learn about Develop Kageso, Salvage, Analysis, and Exchange.
The Develop Kageso screen shows all the Kageso‘s information and allows you to toggle Protection (safeguard from accidental Sell, Salvage, or Analysis) by tapping the Unprotected/Protected button beneath the Kageso name.
For Green, Blue, or Purple Quality Kageso, you will see the Upgrade button at the bottom right corner. Tap it go to the Kageso Upgrade screen where you can choose how far you want to Upgrade the Kageso. Upgrading costs Coins.
Tap the Refine button to go to the Refine Stats screen. Refining consumes Refine Agents and Coins (for normal Kageso) or Dust (for Rare Kageso). For Gold Quality Kageso, Refining randomly generates Main Stats and Attribute Bonuses which range from 1 bar to 5 bars. Each bar representing a 20% increase. A star is displayed when the main stats and attribute bonuses are close to 5 bars. With the best possible draw (all 5 bars), a Kageso can be twice as powerful (100% increase) as a Kageso of the previous Quality.
For Gold Kageso, you will see the Breakthrough button to the left of the Refine button. Orange Kageso can be acquired via the Breakthrough function which is unlocked once a Gold Kageso is leveled to level 40. Breakthrough consumes 2 Gold Kageso of the same Cost as the Kageso undergoing the Breakthrough, as well as the same amount of Pact of Time and Shadow Trace as the Cost of the Kageso undergoing the Breakthrough. For Rare Kageso, False Codex is consumed in place of Shadow Trace. When a Kageso is raised to Orange quality, the main stats and bonus attributes do not change but rather three additional attributes are gained. These additional attributes range from 1 bar to 5 bars. Each bar representing a 20% increase. A star that provides additional % increase is acquired when the additional attributes are all near 5 bars. There is also a 20% chance to gain a Set Option.
Exclusive Kageso are upgraded from Purple Quality to Gold Quality via the Evolve button. Evolve consumes 10 Cat Bells or 10000 Rare Anima. Upgrading an Exclusive Kageso from Gold Quality to Orange Quality is done via the Breakthrough button.
The Salvage Kageso screen can be accessed via the Salvage button at the bottom left corner of the Kageso Overview screen.
Salvaging a Kageso will destroy the Kageso and return a portion of Coins. The amount of Coins received depends on the Quality, Rarity, Cost, and Level of the Kageso being Salvaged. Coins that were spent on Upgrading the Kageso will be returned in full. The materials spent for Refining and Breakthrough will not be returned.
Select as many Kageso from the left side of the screen as you want then tap the Salvage button on the bottom right to complete Salvaging the selected Kageso. Salvaging is permanent and cannot be reversed once performed.
We recommend using the Salvage function sparingly as Coins are easier to acquire than Kageso.
The Kageso Analysis screen can be accessed via the Analysis button at the bottom right of the Kageso Overview screen.
Analyzing a Kageso will destroy the Kageso and return a portion of Kageso Anima for normal Kageso and Rare Anima for Rare Kageso. The amount of Kageso Anima or Rare Anima received depends on the Quality, Rarity, and Cost of the Kageso being Analyzed. Only Kageso that haven’t been Upgraded (Level 1) can be used for Analysis. Bound Kageso can be used for Analysis. Exclusive Kageso cannot be used for Analysis.
Select as many Kageso from the left side of the screen as you want then tap the Analysis button on the bottom right to complete Analysis for the selected Kageso. Analysis is permanent and cannot be reversed once performed.

The Kageso Synthesis screen can be accessed via the Kageso button in the Tactical Terminal.
Orange Quality Kageso is Upgraded from Gold Quality Kageso via the Breakthrough function and cannot be obtained via Synthesis.
Kageso Synthesis requires 4 Kageso of the same Quality. Upon success, the Quality of a Kageso randomly selected amongst the 4 Kageso used will be upgraded. The other 3 Kageso will be destroyed.
If at least 2 Rare Kageso are used, the resulting Kageso will be a Rare Kageso.
You can only select Kageso of the same Quality to use for Synthesis.
Synthesis will return all Coins used in the (Level) Upgrading of the Kageso being used.
The Quick Place button will automatically select the Kageso to be used for Synthesis starting from the lowest Quality and the lowest Cost while excluding Rare Kageso, Kageso that are Linked to Wielders, and Keys of Mystery.
Selecting 4 Kageso manually will replace the Quick Place button with the Synthesize button. Tap it to complete the Synthesis using the selected Kageso.
Each Synthesis costs 1000 Coins.
Keys of Mystery are special Items. We recommend that you don’t use them in Synthesis with other Kageso rather use 4 Keys of Mystery to Upgrade to a higher Quality Key of Mystery.

The Kageso Transfix screen can be accessed via the Kageso button in the Tactical Terminal.

Going up 2 Quality Tiers – 40%
Going up 3 Quality Tiers – 20%
Whether the Transfix/Transfer is successful or not, the source Kageso will be destroyed.

Any Coins used for (Level) Upgrading the source Kageso will be returned regardless of success.
